International Front Man Al Staehely Releases His Newest Album « Somewhere In West Texas » And The Charts Heat Up!

Circa late 70s/80s: Al Staehely was coming on strong internationally known for his tenor voice and comfortable out front persona as the lead singer for the chart busting rock group Spirit. It’s years later and Al is still coming on strong. His newest album « Somewhere In West Texas » has been rising on four charts: Top 100 AMA album chart, NACC College chart and Top 10 Roots Music Report on both their country and Americana charts.

Al teams with his good friends in Marfa Texas career musicians in their own right that includes Fran Christina (Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bonnie Raitt), Scrappy Jud Newcomb (Ian McLagan, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Patty Griffin, Slaid Cleaves) and Chris Maresh (Eric Johnson, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Kenny Wayne Shepherd).
